After kanthaswamy, the trio of actor Vikram, producer Thannu and director Susi Ganesan will team up once again for a film which will be the first ever Indo Mexican join production. An agreement to this effect was signed recently when the crew visited Mexico. Announcing this at a press conference, Thannu, who was made an honorary ambassador of this big budget film said,”Though initially Susi wanted to shoot Kanthaswamy in Kenya, we gave up because of the ethnic strife prevailing there. Alternatively we found Mexico, which has untill now been untouched by Indian film units as the right locale for our shoot and that was how we landed there.
The Mexican government officials, who were impressed by Kanthaswamy’s trailer choose to cast Vikram in a movie to be co- produced by them. This has paved a new avenue for films.”Susi revealed that the film will feature Vikram as the Protagonist and a popular Mexican actress will act opposite him. The cast will comprise Indian and Mexican artistes. Reportedly, the Mexicans gave Vikram and the cast and crew of of the movie a red carpet welcome. They performed their tradtional salsa dance and Vikram, a trained sala dancer astonished all with his graceful movement.

Chiyan Vikram will play lead role in a Mexican film produced by the Govt. of Mexico along with Kalaipuli S Thanu as co-producer. According to Thanu, Susi Ganesan, the director of Vikaram’s ongoing project Kandhasamy will direct this film also. The entire team of Kandhasamy met the press at the venue of Kandhasamy shooting yesterday at MRC Nagar to brief the progress of the movie and their recently made Mexican trip to choose the locations in the country, after a 30 minutes video projection on the same.
“Actually, we planned to shoot the film in the different locations of Kenya, the African country with dense forestry locations. But due to the Civil conditions in the country, we changed the locations to Mexico. It will be the first Indian film which will be shot in Mexico and the country is four times costlier than India” said Thanu.
