poster.jpgPrakash Raj’s Duet Movies in association with Moserbaer and Mirchi movies are making the Viji directed Vellitherai. The climax of the film is being talked about, in Kollywood circles as one of the most stunning in recent times.
In the climax, Prakash Raj playing a superstar is watching a movie directed by his bitter enemy Pritviraj who is making his directorial debut. Prakash does not want the film in which he plays hero to click, so he plays dirty! Prakash Raj’s character is said to be evolved from a lot of Tamil ’superstars’ and their antics and gimmicks they play to remain on top.

This scene was shot with the aid of seven cameras by cinematographer Guhan in a set of a huge single screen theatre in Ramoji Rao studio in Hyderabad. Vellitherai starring Prakashraj, Prithviraj and Gopika in the lead roles is the remake of Malayalam Mohanlal- Sreenivasan blockbuster Udayananu Tharam.

The re-recording of the film is going on as Vellitherai gets ready for release on Feb 22 or Feb 29, depending on the release of the other biggie Yaaradi Nee Mohini. Praksh Raj himself is directly involved in the distribution of the film, and is trying his best to get a solo release for Vellitherai.
