Kamal’s ‘Dasavataram’ was recently sold there for Rs.2.50 crore. Malayalam stars are now a worried lot.May being the summer vacations and many people coming into the Tamil Nadu, it is the best time and place for the movie to hit the theatres. Its everytime seen that, the Tamil films always have a rocking stage in the state of Kerala. With regard to the clashes, between the Tamil and the Malayalam films, it had been decided, that the Tamil movie would hit the theatres of Kerala, only after the two weeks after its official release in Tamil Nadu. But still, there has been no change in the results. The movie has been completely enjoyed by the Malayali fans and have been a rock hit.For example, the movie Pokkiri was a smash hit in the Tamil Nadu as well as in Kerela. The movie Azhagiya Tamizh Magan was not so well in Tamil Nadu, the movie turned out to be a smash hit in Kerela. So the Malluwood films would also take care that they screen their Malayalam films, on dates that donít clash up with the Tamil films.
