Yet, her girl-next-door looks and the innate naivety that she sports has gained her a decent name among the press. “I am aware that few of my movies did not do well, but I’ve all my hopes pinned on Jeyamkondaan,” Bhavana was quoted as saying. Jeyamkondan’s director Mani - who hails from the Mani Ratnam’s stable - also vouched for her. According to him, the movie will serve as a re-launch pad for Bhavana whose talents were buried in candy floss romances so far. Shot mostly in and around Tamil Nadu, Jeyamkondan’s crew will fly to Russia and Uzbekistan for the song sequences. For Jeyankondan, she has dubbed for her own and says that she has taken maximum care to ensure that her Tamil diction is proper and flawless.
