We all know that, the over hype of the film Dasavathaaram not only created the positive buzz but also the foreigners getting to know more about the indian production companies. There came yet another problem for Dasavathaaram. Oscar, The Academy Awards Institute filed a case recently against Dasavathaaram production company Oscar Films for infringing copyrighted logo and trademarked names. Producer and proprietor Oscar Ravichandran of Oscar Films has announced that the name of his production house would be changed to Aascar Films. Ravichandran has been facing problems from all quarters as his eagerly awaited Dasavatharam film is slated for a worldwide release on June 6.

After the successful combination in “Thiruvilayadal Aarambam”, Kollywood happening actress Shriya and Upcoming artist Danush are pairing up again for a hindi film remake. The movie was a grand hit in Hindi and none other but “Jab We Met”. With Moser Baer releasing the DVD of this movie soon after the release and this evoked Directors of Kollywood. After a good attempt in the movie “Yevano Oruvan”, Chocolate boy Madhavan has started his next project ‘Yaavarum Nalam’. Adlabs, a corporate style film making company is highly impressed with Madhavan’s talents and market and is producing Vikram K. Kumar’s Yaavarum Nalam, a Tamil-Hindi bilingual starring Madhavan and Neetu Chandra. The film is a family story with no fights or action sequences, but the director promises that the film be as gripping as an action thriller.

After the moderate success of kuruvi, kollywood actor ilayathalapathy Vijay has decided his next film and has just started the photo shoot of it. The movie is titled “Vilu” and its being produced by Ayngaran International. Earlier the same project had been titled Singam but before they could announce it, director Hari beat them to it. At the inauguration function of ‘Seval,’ he announced that the next film he was directing with Surya was titled ‘Singam.’ It is said that Hari refused to concede the title for Vijay’s film. Now Vijay’s film is titled ‘Vil.’ This also happens to be the title of SJ Surya’s film where he plays a disabled person and is paired with Shireen.
